Social Media as a Marketing Strategy


Social media, also known as viral marketing, entails the utilization of social networks as a technique to broaden your marketing strategy. Effective utilization of viral marketing can result in a dramatic increase in publicity and awareness of your corporate brand. However, viral marketing can be time consuming and often requires incentives to get the ball rolling, depending on the quality of your product and/or service.

As with most aspects in business, viral marketing should not be your only attempt at marketing and should be used in conjunction with other marketing methods, again depending on the product and/or service you provide.
